When fashion becomes a story of heritage

From the nostalgia of an immigrant to the mission of shining a light on Haitian culture through each creation

A few years ago, I would have never imagined that a simple piece of fabric could become the symbol of a life mission.

Like many immigrants, I arrived in Canada with dreams, challenges, and a deep nostalgia for my country. But one thing has never left me: the richness of Haitian culture. I refused to let it remain locked in my memories. I wanted to bring it to life, to make it shine, and to pass it on.

This is how Zinice Créations was born.

Each creation I make is much more than a garment or an accessory. It is a conversation between the past and the present. It is a way of saying that our culture is beautiful, elegant, timeless, and deserves to be worn with pride all over the world.

This Karabela scarf that I am wearing today represents exactly this vision. Behind its colors and patterns lies a story, an identity, and a people whose legacy continues to inspire.

I am a designer, but I consider myself above all as an ambassador of my heritage. My greatest joy is not just to see someone wearing one of my creations; it is to see that person wearing a piece of history with confidence and elegance.

I deeply believe that fashion can do much more than just dress. It can preserve a memory, bring cultures closer together, and give a voice to those who wish to tell their origins differently.

Each piece created at Zinice Créations is designed with this conviction: each creation has a soul, each image tells a story.

Thank you to all the people who support this adventure. You are not just wearing a creation; you are participating in making a cultural heritage of exceptional richness shine.

And you, if you could wear just one thing that tells your story, what would you choose?
